FREE TRADE ZONE

It allows the introduction for a limited time (up to 24 months) of foreign commodities delaying payment of foreign trade taxes. It also allows some special customs programs, like IMMEX.

Cargo can be subject of:

Handling and transformation
Storage
Custody
Exhibit
Sale to third party
Distribution center property of foreigners
Assembly and transformation
Repair

BENEFITS

Cargo can remain in RFE Alpamed up to 24 months
Partial or total extractions
Importer (through a customs agent) makes the "pedimento" and pays taxes
Operator generates an electronit exit notice with the "pedimento"
